About This WIKI
The main purpose of this wiki is to host the manuals and documentation related to Furcadia Dreamer, an editor of Furcadia dreams, an alternative to DreamEd and several other programs either shipped with Furcadia or not.
History of Furcadia Dreamer
Old Dreamer
Several years ago, the first version of Dreamer was created. It would save both map and DS into one file. The included DS editor allowed users to click on the map and the location would be copied into the script. It was possible to copy & paste a portion of map, also between more instances of Dreamer. The development was discontinued with the coming of a new version, and the first version has been called Old Dreamer since then. The sources are lost today. But the last stable executable can be found.
Furcadia Dreamer
The reason for rewriting Dreamer were many-fold. The main ones were that I grew to hate the design and programming techniques used in Old Dreamer. Even though Furcadia Dreamer missed a few features presented in Old Dreamer, I believe there were others to make up for it. Furcadia Dreamer is currently in function-freeze period and only bug fixes will be made.

Furcadia Dreamer Reloaded
Another couple of years passed and there is yet another version. In order to understand the logic behind the creation of a new version instead of extending the current one, one needs to recognize my motivation for making a program in general. With no expectation other than to sound cliché the new version is called Furcadia Dreamer Reloaded.
Visual Dreamer
As it turns out, there is yet, yet another remake. It's working title was Furcadia Dreamer Realoded & Sharpened for a while because it's being written in C# (read 'see-sharp'), and really was not going to differ from its predecessor in many ways. Except it's gonna be absolutely better than the previous one, as always. Due to considerable improvements, this version deserves a better title. And I think Visual Dreamer will do.
